This is an interesting one. I can't find a Saint Level on the Internet. I wonder if it's Street Level? Towns with the world "Level" in them are fairly common in the South, but this church is nowhere near a town of any size. The USGS Quad Topo map this church appear on is named "Big Level Church," but in typical government fashion, the actual Big Level Church is on a different Topo map, but nearby.

Regardless of its curious name, this fine old Baptist church is located in the rural area north of Clarksville on Highway 15.

The church has a large outdoor covered area for "dinner on the grounds" - a fine Southern church tradition.

One fun find on the grounds was an old "necessary" - an outhouse - in the woods behind the church. It's still standing, but plainly not in use. You don't see too many standing outhouses anymore. Which is actually good. Photo of the outhouse and other shots are in the gallery.
