This bronze statue is placed in Schoenleinsplatz in Bamberg. It's the equestrian portrait of Luitpold (Wuerzburg, 1821 - Munich, 1912), Prince Regent of Bavaria from 1886 to 1912. The stone basement carries in its front side the inscription LUITPOLD / PRINZREGENT / OF BAYERN / 1886 - 1912.
