Like most cities in Baden-Württemberg, Lörrach has a flag that is derived from the coat of arms. These flags usually have the coat of arms in the center and vertical stripes in the same colors. Usually there are only two stripes, the three stripes on the Lörrach flag are an exception, that was officially confirmed by the state on November 11, 1975.
The coat of arms were granted to Lörrach in 1682, when it received city rights. The canting arms show a lark ("Lerche"), in the colors of Baden.
I found this flag at a lamp post in the center of Lörrach.
