Tania Hubach headstone is in the Midway Cemetery is located on a semi paved road opposite 9th Avenue in Midway. From Hwy. 3 take this road north and continue about 1 km to cemetery. You will cross the Kettle Valley Rail Trail.

Tania Hubach was born in 1902 and died in 2003 at the age of 101.

Little is known about her life. She live though major events that took place in Canada. Some of which are: First World War, Women won right to vote, Alcohol prohibition, Women are considered "Persons" under Canadian law, World War II, and the Mars Polar Lander was launched to just name a few.

The Midway Cemetery was established in the early 1900s and is still active. It is located within the Kootenay Boundary District in a rural area of Midway. It is maintained by the town of Midway: Mile 0 of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail.
