Lakeview Cemetery
Lakeview Cemetery is a large cemetery with approximately 1,500 internments. It is well maintained by the city of Osoyoos. Within the cemetery is a designated area for Veterans. This is a rather small Veterans area with about 50 internments. There was a recent burial the day we were there.
Lakeview Cemetery is within the Okanagan-Similkameen Regional District.
It is also known as the Osoyoos Cemetery and was established around the 1950s.
There is a Catholic, cremains and a large lawn area with all the headstones flush to the ground. There is also a designated area for Veterans.
