This whole structure was once a Montgomery Ward warehouse, and it survived flooding in 1949 and a direct tornado strike in 2000. After Ward closed down, it stood, derelict, for some time, but ultimately it was reborn as a multipurpose building with restaurants, shops, and even places to live. It may have been easier to restore this tough, ol' building than to knock it down, seeing that Mother Nature tried and failed.

There's quite a bit of space, with seating around the perimeter of the store, and a good-sized seating area near the front. It can get a little hectic where the barista is going to hand you your drink, and that can be exacerbated by Me First people on their phones who don't watch where they're going. There are also a few tables outside.

Review:
Pretty busy, but then again, this is 7th Street as you get into the cultural district. The two ladies working here were bailing as fast as they could, and I didn't have to wait too long.
