This is one of two elevators remaining in Coaldale. We're not sure how many there were in the town at one point.

The elevators left in Coaldale consist of a 1906 Parrish & Heimbecker elevator and this one. Painted in Wheat Pool colors, we assume that is what it was at one time. A standard wood cribbed elevator, it may have been built in 1961 while the present annex may have been built in 1988. These dates come from very sketchy information from the Alberta Heritage Survey. Still in use, this elevator now stores and dispenses fertilizer.
Currently used as a grain elevator: no
