The memorial is located in front of the police station in Alameda. On the ground is etched "In valor there is hope" Next to this is asculpture of a draped flag and two weeping angels. Underneath is "Duty Honor Sacrifice" There are also two bust of Davey and Gresham. Davey diedMarch 3, 1983 while doing a drug raid in Alameda. Gresham died July 11, 1942 in a motorcycle accident.
