Location of station: MO 161 & Boonslick Rd. (old US 40), Danville

This was the (almost) last service station headed west before Columbia MO. I used it a lot back in the 50's - before I 70 killed the town around here. Notice the crumbling islands where the pumps used to ply their trade.
If my memory serves correctly this was a flying red horse (or Mobile Gas) but I could be very wrong. NO clue remains as to the brand

The pole barn building was added later.
