The marker says, "This McCaslin Pedestrian Bridge is dedicated to the memory of Dennis Cole. Dennis, a dedicated employee of the regional transportation district for 10 years, was a project manager, a dear friend and the architect who utilized vision, innovation and creativity in the design of this bridge. Dennis' Legacy can be seen thought the RTD district, including the parking structure at Sheridan an U.S. 36, the light rial platforms along the central platte valley line, and the barrel vault at Denver Union Station. His final service to the residents of the district was as project manger of the fasttacks west corridor light rail project. His friendship and contributions will be missed, but his sprite will live on..."
