Located in a courtyard on the south side of the Oklahoma History Center, this is a granite bench standing near a lovely native sandstone waterfall fountain.

Engraved on the front of the bench, the memorial reads:

In honor of our Revolutionary ancestors
Oklahoma City Area Regents Council
Oklahoma Society Daughters of the American Revolution

The Oklahoma City Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolutionary is the oldest chapter in the state, established December 14, 1904. Among its illustrious members have been the former Mayor of Oklahoma City, Patience Latting, and Louise Fluke, who designed the Oklahoma flag which flew in 1925.
