The Jessie Cairns broken column headstone is one of only two in the large Nelson Cemetery.

The fourteen acre cemetery contains over 10,500 graves. It is at the far south end of Falls Street, at the south end of the city.

Jessie's gravesite is near the northern end of General Plot #2, which is the second plot from the eastern edge of the cemetery.

Jessie passed away in Nelson on April 22nd, 1914. Her birthplace and birthdate are unknown.
