The Mighty Canadian Minebuster roller coaster was one of 4 original roller coasters when the park opened in 1981. The others were the Dragon Fyre (now Dragon Fire) Wilde Beaste (now Wild Beast) and the Ghoster Coaster (a wooden coaster geared towards the smaller set).

The Minebuster was the park's signature coaster for many years, and is still the longest wooden coaster in Canada.
