Das Dorf Rehbach ist ein Stadtteil von Leipzig in Sachsen und liegt im äußersten Südwesten des Stadtgebiets.

Die Dorfkirche, eine Chorturmkirche, wurde im 14. Jahrhundert erbaut. Das Erscheinungsbild der Kirche wurde in der Barockzeit stark verändert und wird von einem hohen achteckigen Turmaufsatz mit geschweifter Haube und aufgesetzter Laterne bestimmt. Die Erhöhung des Turms sowie auch die Vergrößerung der Kirchenfenster und eine Verlängerung des Kirchenschiffes nach Westen wurden im Jahr 1705 abgeschlossen. In der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurden auf gusseisernen Säulen gelagerte Emporen eingebaut. In den letzten Jahren wurde sie umfassend renoviert. Die Rehbacher Kirche gehörte seit 1540 als Filialkirche zum evangelischen Kirchspiel Knauthain. Seit 2001 Teil der Kirchgemeinde Knauthain.

Im Jahre 2005 wurde die Außensanierung des Gotteshaus realisiert und in den Jahren 2009-2012 konnten umfassende Renovierungsarbeiten im Kircheninneren erfolgen. Die Generalsanierung und Restaurierung der Orgel wird gegenwärtig geplant.

The village Rehbach is a district of Leipzig in Saxony, Germany and is located in the extreme southwest of the metropolitan area.

The village church, a choir tower church, was built in the 14th century. The appearance of the church was greatly changed during the Baroque period and is determined by a high octagonal tower attachment with curly hood and attached lantern. The raising of the tower as well as the enlargement of the church windows and an extension of the nave to the west were completed in 1705. In the second half of the 19th century mounted Galleries were built on cast-iron columns. In recent years it has been extensively renovated. The Rehbacher church belonged since 1540 as a subsidiary church to the evangelical parish Knauthain. Since 2001 it's part of the parish Knauthain.

In 2005, the exterior renovation of the church was realized and in the years 2009-2012 extensive renovations inside the church could be done. The general renovation and restoration of the organ is currently being planned.
