U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark CS2834 is the large cap atop the Richardson Heights Water Tank, on the north side of Holly Dr at its intersection with Dogwood Dr, Richardson, TX.

The tank is still in place and in excellent condition, although its color today is more white with a blue tinge.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1965 (EBB) THE STATION IS LOCATED IN THE RICHARDSON HEIGHTS RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, ABOUT 0.3 MILE EAST OF COIT ROAD AND 0.35 MILE SOUTH OF ARAPAHO ROAD. THE TANK IS AN OBLONG METAL STRUCTURE, PAINTED LIGHT GREEN, SUPPORTED BY ABOUT 10 TWIN LEGS AND IS ABOUT 135 FEET IN HEIGHT. THE POINT INTERSECTED WAS THE LARGE CAP AT THE APEX OF THE TANK.
