The John Wiley House at 18 East Third Street was built by Peter Crowding circa 1801. The brick three-story, three bay house in in a Georgian style, The house has a side-hall plan with a gable roof with a dormer. The entrance to the home has a fanlight and pedimented surround.

The house is in excellent condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
