Located at the corner of West Beverley Street and North Augusta Street is a downtown landmark known as the Clock Tower. The clock was built in 1890 and remodeled about 1916, it is still functioning with just routine maintenance. On the ground floor of the building are two businesses: Clock Tower Convenience and The Clock Tower Tavern. Upper floors have apartments.
