In June 2014, Long & McQuade opened a new location in Kanata. In addition to the musical instruments, Long & McQuade offers a lesson centre featuring professional studios, highly qualified teachers and private instruction for all ages, levels and styles. According to the web site, they teach lessons in guitar, bass, drums, piano, voice, woodwinds, brass, strings and more!

The store opens at 10h00, closing at 21h00 weekdays and at 18h00 Saturdays. The store is not open Sundays. For now, the entrance is at the northwest side of the building
