A data da sua construção é desconhecida mas a época provável da construção da capela é o século 17. A primeira documentação que existe sobre a exitencia da capela data de 1758 segundo o Inventário do Património Arquitectónico.
Foi restaurada já no século 21.

The date of construction is unknown but likely time of construction of the chapel is the 17th century.'s The first documentation of the existence of the chapel dates from 1758 according to the Inventory of Architectural Heritage.
