The Houthuizer Mill in the Limburg village of Lottum (District Horst aan de Maas) is a belt mill which was (re)built in 2007/2008. The new mill is standing on de exact place where the original mill of Lottum was standing. In 1944 was the old mill totaly destroyed. The remains of the old mill did not prove useful and have been demolished; only the sand and the Earth of the mill mountain are still the original.
The new mill has 1 blue stone, which will be used on a voluntary basis to grind grain. The Houthuizer mill is since 2009 in use again by voluntairs.
