Founded in 1860 , the Society of races Niort, is one of the oldest niortaises associations. She is preparing to celebrate its 150th anniversary at its meeting in early September .

Racecourse is appreciated by all professionals as to the quality and maintenance of its tracks , one by discipline, by its capacity and accommodation for horses (43 boxes hard ) Today Horse Racing Society holds five meetings per year two and three trot canter . The tracks share space with the Golf de Niort , which guaranteed a pleasant environment, preserved and maintained .

Since 1998 , the entry is offered to ladies and free entertainment are available for children that has given a new impetus to horseracing niortaises . The racecourse in a pleasant and shady , receives an average of 8,000 visitors per year and punters and saves about € 160,000 issues .

President Michel Moulin and volunteers make every effort to ensure that spectators spend many a pleasant day .

Son hippodrome est apprécié par l’ensemble des professionnels tant pour la qualité et l’entretien de ses pistes, une par discipline, que par sa capacité d'accueil et d’hébergement pour les chevaux (43 boxes en dur) Aujourd’hui, la Société hippique organise cinq réunions par an deux de trot et trois au galop. Les pistes partagent l'espace avec le Golf de Niort, ce qui garanti un environnement agréable, préservé et entretenu.

Depuis 1998, l’entrée est offerte aux dames et des animations gratuites sont proposées aux enfants ce qui a permis de donner un nouvel essor aux courses hippiques niortaises. L’hippodrome dans un cadre agréable et ombragé, accueille en moyenne 8 000 visiteurs et turfistes par an et enregistre environ 160 000 € d’enjeux.

Son président Michel Moulin et ses bénévoles mettent tout en œuvre pour que les spectateurs venus nombreux passent une agréable journée.
