The grave is located near the southwestern corner of the cemetery, near the western entrance to the cemetery from Nehoiden Street. The grave, located within the old part of the cemetery, made of marble and is visible from the driveway.

TOLMAN and wife JOHN TOLMAN died May 20, 1835 aged 82 years. ELIZABETH TOLMAN died April 30, 1835 aged 87 years. "This venerable couple lived together 57 years the greater portion of which time was devoted to the service of their Divine Master: During the revolutionary struggle as a commanding officer he was indefatigable in his exertions. And in the memorable battle of Lexington distinguished himself as a fearless defender of his countrys liberty.
