In 1989, the Cross and Bell Tower, destroyed by inclement weather, was refurbished by the fundraising power and good drive of the pastor of that period, Reverend Dr. Elmer A.R. Schultz. He died in the 1990s and the dedication of the elements took place shortly after his death.
