This small independent diner is located in one of the old Lisbon's quarters, Alfama.

This is most probably a family business; the name suggests it as well as the experience there. It's a true neighborhood diner, where one will watch the neighbors chattering until the newcomer enters the restaurant. Then the owner will call for what must be his wife to get the kitchen ready for the order.
The food was quite OK, prices fair, but perhaps the best feature is the decoration: there are several murals being the best the one dedicated to the old Lisbon trams.
Every Tuesdays there is a Fado's live performance.
