The old Redlingfield village sign stands in the porch: there is a new one at the junction a couple of hundred yards to the north of the church.

The sign depicts the church of St Andrews, a set of village stocks - they are hidden beneath a bench in the porch, and you might miss them - and what looks to be a nun, presumably because of the priory that was nearby. The remains of which can be seen nearby, and is now in use as a barn.
