For years and years mister Kamperman and his wife organized funerals in Lochem and surroundings. As becoming older they sold their company to a large Dutch funeral organization. The name "Kamperman" is still in use for this funeral house. The organization it was sold to is "Monuta". Analysts calculated that "Monuta" organizes about 17 - 18 % of all the funerals in the Netherlands.
Some rooms are located in the building where the dead are laid out. One of these rooms is open 24/7 for the family of the deceased.
There is also a room where about a hundred people can sit while condole. In this room there is a possibility to have a service for the deceased.
