The First English Lutheran Church was built in 1897. The church was designed by the architectural firm of (Franzheim, Giesey & Faris. The stone and brick church are in a Victorian-Romanesque Revival style. The church features massive arched stone door and window window opens. The church building appears to be in good condition and continues to serve its active congregation
