In September 1846, nearly 200 residents of the parish addressed to Bishop JC Prince, coadjouteur a request for the construction of the stone church.
In 1850, the trustees concluded contract with the architect and master Onesimus Generous - Olivier Morin contractor for the construction of a church of 150 x 60 feet and 32 feet high, and a sacristy. In 1853, a second key market decor inside the church and sacristy.
September 30, 1854, the St. Pius church is blessed by the priest Crevier, assisted by Michel Godard, vicar of Saint-Césaire.
The church of low-Gothic style distinguishes itself by its vast proportions. Ground, the shape of the church is a Latin cross.

En 1853, un deuxième marché touche le décor de l’intérieur de l’église et de la sacristie.
Le 30 septembre 1854, l’église Saint-Pie est bénie par le curé Crevier, assisté de Michel Godard, vicaire de Saint-Césaire.
L’église, de style gothique surbaissé se distingue surtout par ses vastes proportions. Au sol, la forme de l’église est en croix latine.
La couleur du toit de ses clochers brillent au soleil et sont superbes dans un ciel bleu
