This is the northern Slocan Park entrance to the Slocan Valley Rail Trail, just 2 km. south of the hamlet of Slocan Park. It is adjacent to Highway 6 on the west side.

This access point bisects the Crescent Valley to Passmore section, allowing access for the residents of Slocan Park. It is about 6 km. from the Passmore access and 10.5 km from the Crescent Valley access.
From this point one may head north or south on the 16.5 km.
Crescent Valley > Passmore section of the trail. Parking is available at the trailhead and there are outhouses stationed strategically along the trail, usually at each trailhead.
Each section trailhead has signage relating a bit of the history of the rail trail and the local area.
In the winter this rail trail becomes a cross country ski and snowshoe trail, with biweekly Grooming taking place on the trail.
