Fondée en 1969 par le Rév. Normand Houle, et son épouse, l'Église regroupe à ce moment environ 50 personnes. Aujourd'hui, dans les nouveaux locaux de la rue St-Hubert, plus de 400 fidèles assistent régulièrement aux offices et aux différentes activités de l'Église.
