En: Commemoration complex is next to the cemetery in district Praha-Hostivar. The area is landscaped and fenced. The memorial is made of walls of sandstone blocks, followed by the massive pillar with the sculpture. The author of the monument is architect Zadák. The sculpture depicts two soldiers, symbolically, placing a wreath to the fallen. Model sculpture is made by sculptor Vendelín Zdrubecký and carved by sculptor Novák. On the left of the statue is a plaque with the names of 26 killed, tortured and executed Hostivar citizens. On the right, it is additionally equipped with a memorial plaque to the victims of the May uprising, relocated here in 2008 from the premises of now a private company. On a honorary cemetery is buried among others pilot of 312 Fighter Squadron, col. Bohuslav Frost.
The memorial was unveiled on May 8, 1958, the construction was directed by Ing. architect František Bradác.
There is also a memorial to the victims of the first World War II and the graves of the fallen.
Cz: Pietní areál s parkovou úpravou leží v sousedství hrbitova mestské cásti Hostivar. V areálu se nachází též památník obetem 1. svetové války a hroby padlých. Památník tvorí zed s pametními deskami a válcovým zdeným pilírem, nesoucí sousoší. Autorem památníku je ing. arch. Zadák. Sousoší predstavuje dva vojáky, symbolicky kladoucí venec padlým. Model sousoší zhotovil akad. sochar Vendelín Zdrubecký a vytesal akad. sochar Novák. Vlevo od sousoší je pametní deska se jmény 26 padlých, umucených a popravených hostivarských obcanu. Vpravo se nachází dodatecne osazená pametní deska obetem kvetnového povstání, premístená sem roku 2008 z areálu nyní soukromé firmy. Na cestném hrbitove je pohrben mimo jiné pilot 312. stíhací perute RAF, plk. Bohuslav Mráz.
Památník byl slavnostne odhalen dne 8.5.1958, stavbu rídil Ing. arch. František Bradác.
