More than 100,000 Canadians from all regions and all walks of life have contributed to the construction of the Trans Canada Trail in making the symbolic purchase of meters Path . The contribution of donors and sponsors is attested in 86 Pavilions across Canada . In Quebec there are eight pavilions including this one in Bromont. These shelters are usefull in case of rain but do not provide services , for example there is no drinking water or even table or benches for resting . In addition to the list of local donors, posters on the walls of the clubhouse provide general information about the Trans Canada Trail . After the death of his friend Heward Stikeman in 1999 , Jim Davidson is committed to the construction of the pavilion in his memory. Unfortunately Jim dies 6 months later. It's the families of Jim and Howard who have completed the project in memory of these two men. The plaque is located inside the pavilion.
