This rural post office is located inside the Honeymoon Bay Hall. The hall was built in 1947 by Western Forest Industries, the owner of the mill that operated in Honeymoon Bay until 1981. The building was given heritage status by the Cowichan Valley Regional District on February 23, 2000. The PO boxes are accessible whenever the community hall is open, but the post office counter is only manned Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
