This memorial, dated 1932, is a monument dedicated to the Bersaglieri. This special force of the Italian Army was created in 1836 in the Piedmontese Army (by then there was no Italy). They participated in the War of Independence of Italy, the First World War, the Second World War, traditionally as light and very mobile infantry.

The memorial can be found in Rome, not far from the center, and features a Bersaglieri statue on the top, with sculpture depicting the most significant battles fought by the Corps since 1836.
