A plaque in front (on the south side) of the pump tells us:

This pump stood in the Market
Place from 1847 to 1904
It was given to the
London Borough of Enfield
by Mrs W M Reeves
in memory of her husband
C W Reeves Esq OBE FRIBA FRICS
It was restored and erected by the
Borough Council May 1979

The pump stands about 150cm tall. It is painted white and there is some decorative work on the body of the eight side pump. The handle is attached on the east side and is painted black.

C W Reeve would appear to have been an architect and there are some buildings, in Enfield, that are accredited to him.

Location: Market Place - accessible 24/7.
