Voormalig raadhuis van de gemeente Nieuw-Helvoet thans een deel van de gemeente Hellevoetsluis, in de Nederlandse provincie Zuid-Holland. Het heeft 6610 inwoners (2004). Tot 1960 was Nieuw-Helvoet een zelfstandige gemeente. In 1855 werd de gemeente Oude- en Nieuwe Struiten bij Nieuw-Helvoet gevoegd.
Het betreft een rijzig eenlaagspand met neorenaissancedetails zoals een trapgevel en kruiskozijnen.
Op de voorgevel is '1903' en 'Raadhuis' te lezen. Tevens is het wapen van Nieuw-Helvoet op de gevel zichtbaar.
English abstract
This town hall was built in 1903. It was the town hall of Nieuw-Helvoet an independent municipality until 1960. Then it merged into the municipality of Hellevoetsluis.
It is a tall single layer building with neorenaissance details as a look a like gable and crossed window frames.
On the façade is to read. '1903 'and 'Raadhuis'(Town Hall). The coat of arms of Nieuw-Helvoet is also visible on the facade.
