This memorial is erected to the men of the 9th Defense and 9th AA Artillery Battalions. These brave men fought for peace and liberty. Some sacrificed their lives and limbs for the freedom they so loved. They did not serve in vain. Their sacrifices brought us new hope, and have helped keep our nation free.
Let us follow their shinning example and honor them by keeping the freedom which they so valiantly bought for us.
