While visiting the Castlegar Fire Hall to see their vintage trucks, we were kindly allowed by the Fire Chief to photograph all their equipment. He didn't have to make the offer twice.

This 1998 Ford F450 Super Duty Emergency Response Vehicle rounds out the complement of equipment at the disposal of the Castlegar Fire Department. Most of the time it can be seen at the Castlegar #1 Fire Station. Powered by a Triton V10 engine, it has the get-up-and-go to get it on site in a hurry. It serves as their First Responder and Command Vehicle.
The acquisition of this truck was made possible by the generous donations of several entities, most notably the Rotarians. Hence their Rotary International logo and signage is proudly carried on the vehicle.
