To reach the mark from Arkansas City, go North out of town on Highway 77. Turn left (West) on 222nd road. Continue on 222nd road fro ~3.5 miles. The road comes to a T-intersection at 31st road. The becnhmark is in the SE corner of the intersection, set in the top of a concrete post that projects ~4 feet above ground level.
