A rough cut granite semi-oval veterans memorial is located in a landscaped and paved area of Branford Town Green. The memorial has a incised image of am eagle, facing right with wings outspread. The eagle is standing on a palm leaves in front of a four arrows on each side.
Beneath the eagle is the inscription:
IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO SERVED
THOSE WHO WERE DISABLED IN SERVICE
AND THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN
WORLD WAR II AND THE KOREAN CONFLICT
VIETNAM
