****May 4, 2014 We drove by and saw that the entire building this mural was painted on is GONE. It has been demolished, and there is nothing but red dirt in its place. So glad we got pics of this mural before the building was destroyed!

This very large mural is painted on the east side of a building that is not currently in use. The building is at the southeast corner of Duncan/8th, next to a large parking lot. A fence surrounds the entire east side of the building.
The artist did a great job painting the existing building utilities to blend in with the scene. A pole is carefully painted to match the prairie grass scene behind it, and the rails leading to the door at the center look like part of the barbed wire fence.
A prairie scene with tall grasses is painted on most of the bottom half of the mural. A barbed-wire fence is painted in forefront of that scene. At the left of the mural are large white clouds in a very blue sky. Near the center of the mural you will see a bird perched on the fence and a scissortail-flycatcher in flight to the left of the door. The far right (north) side of the wall has a beautiful display of foliage that rises up most of the height of the wall.
