I drove by this beautiful, over-sized gal one Sunday & knew right away I had to waymark this darling. She adorns a tire store on the Black Horse Pike in Hilltop. SHe is 43 years old & was recently redone to change her appearance. She's still hot!

This particular Nitro girl was once called the Uniroyal girl and is featured in roadside America. In 1965 Ed Werbany bought this fiberglass goddess named Uniroyal Gal for $300 and used her to advertise his tire store in now unincorporated Hilltop, NJ. If I remember correctly, I think she wore a bikini. Mr. Werbany dressed her ( I guess he id not want her parading around half nude...how rude!) in a green skirt and teal top. I think she looks a little like Jackie O with the straight, black hair flipped at her sides. Today she wears a blue skirt just above her knees showing a little thigh (hubba-hubba). The skirt is decorated with white stars like an American flag only the stars are not uniform in size. She wears white cowboy boots that come up just below her knee. Finally on top she is sporting a white shirt with silver flares coming down on the sides and red sleeves. There is a tire with wings coming out of either end on her chest s an emblem of sorts I suppose. Her proper right arm is bent at an angle, her thumb touching her waist. Her proper left hand is up at a right angle and holding a tire it would seem with her outstretched thumb.
