This cemetery is the Kentucky Veterans' Cemetery West south of Hopkinsville, KY. It is a new cemetery, first opening in 2004. There are around 2,500 graves here, mostly veterans but around 500 dependents of veterans are also found here. Nearly 20 markers of active military veterans are also interred here.
This is one of 4 such veterans' cemeteries in the state of Kentucky with a possible 5th in the works.
