Sadly, my children outgrew this fun spot. But for younger children, this is a nice way to spend a partial afternoon of about an hour or so. Anymore, boredom sets in unless you go outside and do the nature thing in the warm months.

There are separate room for toddlers (thank god I have passed that phase), no groups. Some giving corporate sponsors have ensured first rate play areas. There is a climbing wall, basketball court, hockey rink, diner, and a pizza kitchen.

From the Gloucester County Times
Explore life down by the sea, create your own newspaper, or be the foreman of a home construction site in this interactive play land for the under-10 set. There’s even a special area for toddlers 4 and younger. The indoor recreation area features an indoor soccer pitch with artificial turf, a cushioned basketball court, and a two-hole “Dream Green” with life-like contours that mimic a professional golf course. Fish for flounder at Down the Shore, or climb inside a Egyptian pyramid complete with hieroglyphics and a sarcophagus. In the Storybook Castle, one can listen to a tale or find a quiet spot to read alone. Springdale Road, Cherry Hill. Daily, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Open Arms family event, 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 8. Free. Pre-registration required. Children and adults, $10.95; seniors, $9.95. Free parking. 856-424-1233. www.discoverymuseum.com. SOURCE
