One of the two quarries from the company Köppen-Bitburg (Eifel - Germany).
Köppen started production in this quarrie in 1949. The other quarrie started up in 1964 (Heilbach/Neuerburg).Basalt is split to building material with a stationary crusher.
At the moment photographs were taken, quarrie was out of production, it was business holiday.
