Paulson Summit Webcam - Crowsnest Highway, BC - Web Cameras on Waymarking.com

The elevation at the Paulson Summit is 1535 metres (5026 feet), so in the winter there can be quite a bit of snow here. This is why they've built a weather station at the summit, to keep track of highway and weather conditions, primarily in the winter.

This webcam, one of the few solar powered (at least partially) webcams in the interior, is at the west end of a small pullout on the north side of the highway. It is mounted high on a steel pole and looks west up the highway toward the summit. The solar panel on the pole makes it pretty easy to spot.

This webcam updates every 2 minutes. BC Highway webcams are owned and operated by the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure. They are accessible online at DriveBC.
