The so-called 'Mercedes-Benz-Arena' formerly known as 'Neckarstadion' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is the home of the club 'VFB Stuttgart' which plays in the highest German soccer league (1. Bundesliga).
The arena has been built in 1933. The architect was the local architect Paul Bonatz. It has been re-built several times and changed its name four times.

Actually there are seats for more than 60,000 visitors.
It was one of the venues for both world cup competions in Germany in 1974 and 2006. And it was the home for the athletics world cup.
