This bronze sculpture of a foal is located behind the fountain in front of the town hall of Füllinsdorf.
The foal is the heraldic animal of Füllinsdorf. It has been in use since the 17th century. This is due to a phontetic similarity between foal ("Fohlen", even more the local term "Füllen") and the town name, but it is well known that this is pure coincidence and the name "Füllinsdorf" is in fact derived from the name of a Roman farm "Firinisvilla" that was located here in the 1st century.
I could not find any additional information about this sculpture.
