Thin Air Disc Golf Course is actually in cross country ski territory above Rossland, hence the name - Thin Air.

This course shares space with the Black Jack Cross Country Ski Club. If it's summer you golf, it it's winter you ski. Though I suppose that in the winter you could also ski-golf.

Some of the fairways are dirt right now, as they appear to be working on some of the ski trails with heavy equipment. The 18 hole course plays to 5377 feet.

We visited on a Monday afternoon and the place was deserted, but a local happened to be passing by and we asked him what he knew about the course. He said that it was free and was operated by volunteer disc-golf aficionados, members of the Rossland Frolf Association. He also said that it was always busy on the weekends.
