This isn’t exact location of Silica Mine but it is in the general area where Silica Mine is located. Silica mine is located near where the Interstate 215 and Clinton Keith RD intersect at. It operated between 1922 and 1933 and made pure Silica. Water was pumped out of the mine to build a housing tract, the workers ended up finding 40 abandoned cars.
